The Fore’s RAFT Directory for Skilled Volunteer Requests connects small charities and social enterprises with skilled professionals keen to help with challenges thrown up by the COVID-19 crisis.
How to use the RAFT Directory as a volunteer:
- Click the 'Filter' button below to search the RAFT Directory by skill needed, type of organisation and location, or using a keyword, to find a charity you are interested in helping.
- Check out their website and their Charity Commission entry.
- Email them directly to offer your help, using the email address provided in The Fore directory entry. Include a brief note on why you are interested in helping this particular charity or organisation and your relevant skills or experience, share your CV and your LinkedIn profile.
- Wait for the charity to contact you – it is likely they are overwhelmed by current demands on their services so don’t expect immediate answers. If you hear nothing after a week, approach another charity or social enterprise.
